STENCIL BLOG HOP

Kick off!  Kick off!  Kick off!
Yay! It's Stencil Blog Hop time. Let's have some fun! This week (Jan. 20 through Jan. 27) I and several artists will share stencils that I designed. I'm super excited about the 14 designs I created and are now stencils that everyone can use too. The stencils are produced and sold through Stencil Girl Products.

Each day of the hop you will see two new stencils being used by an inspiring artist.  Be sure to visit each artist on the blog hop.  Why???  Well because if you visit and leave a comment, you will be entered for a chance to win some stencils.  Each artist will announce a winner one week after their blog hop post and that winner will receive a set of stencils just like those that the artist shared in her blog hop post.

Here is the blog hop schedule and the artists that you will see:
Sunday, Jan. 20 - Me, right here on this blog
Monday, Jan. 21 - Leslie McNeil
Tuesday, Jan. 22 - Deborah Boschert
Wednesday, Jan. 23 - Margaret Applin
Thursday, Jan. 24 - Brenda Gael Smith
Friday, Jan. 25 - Vicki Welsh
Saturday, Jan. 26 - LuAnn Kessi
Sunday, Jan. 27 - Sue Bleiweiss

I created a video on one of the ways I love to play with my stencils and fabric.  I hope you enjoy it:

Would you like to win some stencils?  Well please leave a comment on this post and tell me if you've used stencils before or are just getting started.  I will choose, by random draw, a winner and that person will win two of my stencils.  The winner will get to choose which two designs they would like.  You must provide contact information in your comment if you don't have an email associated with your user id.  Winner will be posted here on Jan. 28.  Good luck!

Oh and here's another chance for you to win.  I am giving away three, yes 3, packs of stenciled fabrics like the ones shown here:

These stenciled fabric bundles all have a chunk of stenciled fabric, 14 fabrics in all, each with a different stenciled design.  Here's how to enter to win:  Visit my Facebook page and "like" me. Then look for the Facebook post on my page that shares these bundles.  Give the post a like and share the post with your Facebook friends.  That's it, you are then eligible to win.  The winners will be announced on Facebook.

Thanks for stopping by my Stencil Blog Hop.  Have fun hopping!

  18. My first ever finished quilt was made with very traditional stenciled blocks (1986ish) but haven't really used stencils on fabric since... hasn't prevented me from "collecting" stencils tho :-) I am back in the quilting saddle after a long absence, and stencils are going to play a large role... LOVE your stencils... ALL of them. Have LOVED following the twelves too :-) SO enjoyed seeing the group in person in Cincinnati last spring
