Journal Quilt #32

Well I felt rushed again with this week's journal quilt. But I got it done. I really need to start working on these earlier in the week I guess. I used the same technique this week with the gel glue design. Not too sure if I like this one. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

I made this mini padfolio yesterday. The base is strips of black fabric, then I did some stitching with the machine. The last thing I did was couch down a novelty yarn to add just a teeny bit of color.

I noticed that I haven't been posting as much as I normally do. I suppose that's probably due to getting finished up with issue 1 of Fibre&Stitch. This past week or more, I was pretty busy with it and I'm so happy to say that it is ready! Yay! With time to spare too. This premier issue will be released to subscribers on August 29. If you'd like a peek at what's in this issue, click this link, it will show you the table of contents. And if you haven't subscribed, and are thinking about it, we are offering an incentive. For all the people who purchase a one year subscription before the premier issue is released on the 29th, there is going to be a here to read all about it.
