Do You Quilt?

I'm working at getting this kitty quilt painted and finished. I hope to be ready to put the binding on by the weekend. I still have a few areas to add some paint to.

I'm going to offer this design as a quilt pattern. I don't include instructions in the pattern on how to make the quilt because there are any number of techniques that could be used to create it...applique (raw edge, needle turn, etc.) and of course painting, like I do. I'd love to see this made up with applique methods but I just don't have the time to do that now.

So I got to thinking...maybe I could find some quilters who do have the time to make this. Hmmm!

And I just had to share a really cute Rylee photo with you.

  1. Oh my gosh, she looks just like you!

  2. Rylee is sooo cute!

Your pattern would look fabulous done as of Vicki's gradients as a base;add a little surface design and then the applique.

  3. Karen beat me to it. Rylee is a mini-you!!

  4. have to agree with deborah... but i too, would have some fun times with all kinds of different embellishments. its a sweet pattern, vicki, and i do love your painting!!

  5. Are you looking for some "testers"????? Great would be fabulous to see this done with a variety of techniques.....would be even more marketable when quilters can visualize ways it could be done. (Their favorite technique)

  6. Rylee is a little doll Terri, and your quilt is really cute. I love the colors!
    Have a wonderful day!

  7. Rylee does look just like her grandma! What a sweet smile she has!!

  8. Rylee is uber adorable and growing so fast. Treasure these moments dear...

I enjoy getting your comments. Thanks so much for leaving one.
