I have a spot in the entryway of my house where I've had one of those large grapevine wreaths hanging now for oh, maybe 15 years or so. I'm tired of it, it's dusty/dirty and I need a change. So I decided to create a painting.
This is the largest painting I've ever done and I enjoyed working on a larger scale. The canvas measures 28" x 22".
I made a video slideshow of the photos I took during the progression of the painting. I hope you enjoy!

I adore your cat paintings. The video was very educational - in the beginning I couldn't imagine it was the same painting.

Terri,
ReplyDeleteTruly delightful painting, and enjoyed th video.
Thank you for the video and I love the finished product. I also like you idea of just doing art. That's what I need to do, to break out of my mold and try new things. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see your process. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
Terri, How wonderful to see how you add all the layers to get to the final piece.
