Christmas Cards

Late last week I created the mixed-media collage shown above.  It measures approximately 6.5" x 4.5".  I scanned it and also photographed it to see which result would be better when trying to reproduce it in a print. I was a tiny bit surprised to find that the photographed version turned out better.

So I proceeded to Photoshop my image and I printed out several to create Christmas cards.  I'm happy to say that I'm finished preparing my cards for the year and I actually ended up with three extra.

Would you like to get a Christmas card from me that has a print of the above art work on it?  If so, leave a comment on this post and I'll enter you into a drawing.  Three winners will be announced on December 18.  Please make sure I have a way to contact you if I draw your name.  Happy Holidays!

The original mixed-media collage is now available in my Etsy shop.

Also, my photographs of things turn out better than my scand every time. My scanner stinks!
