Another Landscape Update

mixed media landscape painting acrylic paper canvas
Here's the latest progress on the landscapes. This week we built houses. Don't they look cute? They even have house numbers. There is one more lesson to go with this class. I think we'll probably be adding some finishing touches, finish the sides of the canvas, and I know I want to add some flower centers to my flowers yet. I think the photo may be a little dark, please adjust your screens accordingly. Stay tuned for the final viewing next week.

Next photo is my 2007 gourd crop. I left all of these outside on the vines all winter long and this morning we had an absolutely gorgeous morning so I did some gardening and harvested them. I have absolutely no idea where I'm going to store these. I already have some that I grew in previous years and they are all hanging in netted bags from the rafters in Bob's shop. I'm out of netted bags. Pout!

And here is a shot of my lovely tulips that are enjoying the beautiful sun-shiny day.

And, HEY!, did you realize that this month marks my two year anniversary as a world-wide bloggy person? Gosh, it seems like not very long ago that I ventured out into the blog world. Stay tuned, as I plan to have a give away opportunity for all you wonderful visitors that come by and cheer up my days. I'll announce the give away on Saturday, I think.

  1. Love all the things you shared...your paintings are too cute and those TULIPS are simply gorgeous. I just cut mine off and trashed them. The foliage and the flowers were all diseased this year. Thanks for sharing yours so I can ohhhh and ahhhhh!!!

  2. If you're looking for something to do with those nicely dried gourds, you could send a couple of them down to Chicago. I've always wanted to try my hand at gourd craft. *sweet smile*

I probably have something I could even trade.

  3. Terri those paintings are awesome! I love that blue that you used for the houses, that color is perfect on there.

  4. Terri,
Your landscapes are fabulous! I'm soooo behind.

What are you going to do with the dried gourds? I use them as musical instruments.

  5. These gourds are just waiting for some creative hands to get a hold of them! I love your paintings! and your face from our "All About Faces" class turned out beautiful! I also love your night or day paintings - they really are great! Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog - it lead me to yours as well, and I am going to bookmark your blog! Lots of beautiful things to look at and I love your writing style.

I enjoy getting your comments. Thanks so much for leaving one.
