Collage Submission

I made a fiber collage piece to donate for Virginia Spiegel's Collage Mania II, more information here. This was so much fun to make. I used the hand-painted cotton duck that appeared a couple of posts back. I added a cat design that I had outlined with black gutta and some raw-edge fused applique. There is both hand and machine stitching. The binding is a novelty yarn that I attached with a zigzag stitch.

  11. Terri - your stuff always reminds me of a "day at the beach" - breezy, sunny and fun. Amazing you are creating such "sunshine" in such a frigid land (North Dakota). Enjoy your weekend in the snow. Hopefully we are getting some too - tomorrow with temps not much above 10 degrees in the evening!!!

  13. Teri, your designs are all as wonderful as Mary Engelbright's or Laural Burch. I think you need to find out about marketing. I'd love to buy the first pair of cat earrings, & socks to match! Then we could all say we knew you when....
