Down to the wire on this quilt. I've always considered the deadline for my weekly journal quilt to be midnight Saturday. I did start this one yesterday, but today I got busy and didn't get back to it until evening. For this week's journal quilt I used a technique from an article in the premier issue of
Fibre&Stitch, written by
Carol McFee. The title of the article is Lutradur & Lace. I enjoyed making this and now want to keep my eyes open when going to yard sales and the thrift stores for vintage lace.
And somehow I ended up with two issues of this magazine. Fiber Arts Sep/Oct 2007. I think what I did is I subscribed to it recently and forgot about it...then when I saw it on a newsstand I picked it up.
