Journal Quilt #25

This week's quilt was inspired by a wall quilt pattern I saw in a quilting magazine. I don't normally work with this color pallete, as it's not my favorite. All of the fabrics except the background on this are from my scrap basket.

  9. This is wonderful. Works as a journal quilt and I can see it being wonderful as a full size quilt too. Congrats on working outside your normal colour palette :)

  12. I love it! Sometimes those neutral colors are s needed breath of fresh air. And I agree with Nellie about the little dots in the center. Totally delightful.

    Like many other posters, I like the colors. I especially like the polka dotted, black and white centers that tie everything together...part with their random dots and part by providing the perfect contrast and the ideal focal spot for each cube. An excellent piece! Excellent colors!
