On the Slow Boat

I received this postcard from Francoise over the weekend. We were beginning to think it was lost forever as Francoise had mailed it in early April. She had even put it in a plain white envelope, so it's not like it was getting admired along the way. Don't you just have to wonder why some mail takes forever to get to its destination. Thank you Francoise I love the card and if you didn't notice in the photo, there's an itsy bitsy little embroidered heart on it.

  1. It's so annoying waiting for something in the post. Purple Missus had to send me another of her Wild Women postcards back in February because the first went missing.

  2. What a pretty postcard!

Is it made of fabric? And if so, did it hold up well in the mail?

  4. Doesn't that tiny heart give life to the whole PC? Lovely touch Francoise.

  5. A friend of mine holds the record (as far as I know) for longest delivery on a fabric postcard - three months. From Montana to southern England. The amazing thing is that it got there after that time - wonder where it was in between? Needless to say, it had been given up for lost...
