Just Dilly Dallying

Hi! I haven't spent a lot of time in the studio lately. Our weather has turned nice and I'm outside flower gardening and taking care of the yard. I've also been a busy homemaker and doing some spring cleaning...and YES, that includes cleaning windows. But oh how sparkly clean they are and I can actually see through them now. Ha!

When I do get a chance to play with my art supplies, I've been keeping up with some cotton duck painting.

And here is a journal spread I am working on.

I've also been using up some of my scrap fabrics and making some zippered pouches.

I love love love spring and just yesterday I saw the first of the Orioles return. Good thing I had some grape jelly out and their nectar feeder hanging. Now I will try to patiently wait for a hummingbird sighting.

  1. I love all the colors! Your zipper bag is wonderful. I made several of those a few years ago and gave them all away, maybe I should make myself one. Your life mimics mine, I too am spending most of my time outside and even washing windows! I don't like doing it but I love the results.

  2. I adore seeing your hand designed and painted and stenciled fabrics. Then I adore seeing what you create with them. Fabulous little zipper bag. Creative Bliss Dear...
