Been Painting and Stitching

This week I delivered four painted canvases to my local quilt shop. It wasn't until I returned home that I realized I forgot to take photos of them. SIGH! That figures! I was still working on one though and when I finished with it, I snapped a photo right away! I painted, screen printed and stenciled this one.

I've been working on many things lately and I'll show some of those in time. But one thing that I started recently (and believe me! I don't need a new project right now..so why do I even start???) is a new quilt. Here is one of the blocks.

This is the pattern I'm following. I thought it would be a good project to work on when I have 10 or 15 minutes while waiting for something else to dry or whatever. It's also a good project for when I want to sit down at the sewing machine and do some mindless sewing.

I decided to attempt to make this in a king size so I had to figure out my dimensions and how many more blocks I needed, etc. Right now I'm still working on getting all the triangle units made up.

Hope you are having a great weekend.
