It's Done! It's Done!

I LOVE IT! I am so happy with how this turned out. Okay, maybe there are a few things I would do differently, but overall I am quite pleased. I did some things on this purse I had never done before, like install a magnetic clasp, I have to thank Sue for her instructions on doing that. And I also used D-rings, which turned out to be very simple to do. I followed the instructions for doing the handles with D-rings, given by Creative Little Daisy here. Otherwise I just decided how big I wanted my purse and started cutting fabric without using a pattern. Oh, and I also used the same tutorial above for the inside pockets.

  1. Your flower bag is really great! Love the sunshine colors. Also, it made a great use for your "flower" girl. Like the shapes of squares and triangles together!

  5. Oh I'm so glad you all like it. Over the last few hours, I have been thinking about one part I'm not happy with (a part you can't see in the picture) and I think I've decided to redo it in a different way. That means I'll have to unstitch some but I think in the long run I'll be happier. Wow Nance, would you want my purse???? I'm so flattered. I have absolutely no idea what kind of price tag it should have, but I would consider selling it. I want to redo that one part first and then decide if I think it's sellable or if it's to mangled up. I guess I could make another one..... :~)

  11. This purse is WOW! Took me awhile ~ this was your sneak peek. It's fantastic. Sounds like you should be considering an etsy shop. Or do you already sell your beautiful pieces at some exclusive gift shop?
    Keep up the good work.
