I've been wanting to work with felt as I really like the look of felt items. I looked at buying the wool felt as that seems to be the best felt out there, but it is also somewhat spendy. So, since I'm just starting out I thought I would buy the inexpensive acrylic felt to practice with. I was in the Portland Oregon area about 3 weeks ago and my aunt took me to one of my favorite fabric stores.....Fabric Depot.....and everything was 30% off that day. So I picked up a few colors of felt along with some other things (Grin). I've seen some great looking felt pincushions so I gave one a try. The online group I belong to (clothpaperstudio) prompted me to make this felt flower. The current stash challenge is "felt".
