Last Day of May

Wow, it's the last day of May today and I'm wondering where the time goes. In my neck of the woods it seems like we went straight from winter to summer and skipped spring. We've had some terribly warm days, one day was in the 90s. Too hot for this time of year.

Here is a small, cross-body handbag I made.

And here are a couple more handbags I'm working on.

The next two photos are more painted cotton duck panels that I continue to create. I recently sold the six I had in stock and now need to replenish so I have some ready.

I realized recently that May marks the anniversary of my blog. I started blogging in May 2006. Wow, where has THAT time gone. I've enjoyed blogging all these years but I'm starting to see a change. I feel like more sharing is taking place elsewhere, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., and while my blog may still get visits, there are less comments left. I think everyone has gotten used to hitting a "like" button and the actual activity of leaving a typed comment is becoming more and more rare. What do you think?
