American Made Brand Blog Tour

Welcome to Day 20 of the American Made Brand blog tour.
You can find American Made Brand online at americanmadebrand.com. These fabrics are 100% American made and they are made from US grown cotton. There are 50 yummy colors as you can see in the color swatch image below.

The AMB blog tour coordinator asked me if I would participate and make a block to represent North Dakota. If you are wondering about the other 49 states and their AMB blocks, visit the following page to see all the state's AMB block blog posts. Click here for the entire blog tour line up.

Let me first give you a little information about North Dakota.
  • Bismarck is the capital
  • Fargo is the largest city
  • Agriculture is the state's largest industry
  • North Dakota is one of the least visited states as far as tourism goes. We do have the Theodore Roosevelt National Park which is in the Badlands. Another place to visit is the International Peace Garden, located at the border of North Dakota and Canada.
  • The state is mostly known for its wide open spaces.
Here is the block I made for the AMB blog tour.

The block has a sunflower on it which represents one of North Dakota's major crops. The state bird is the Western Meadowlark, and the state flower is the Prairie Rose. All of the state blocks from the blog tour will be put together into one quilt and I will share a photo of that here when it is completed. If you would like to make a block like mine, click the following link. North Dakota AMB Block instructions.

Okay, are you ready for a giveaway??  AMB is allowing me to give away a fat quarter bundle, like the ones pictured here. The fat quarter bundle contains 8 fat quarters.

I'm also going to give away two more prizes. Each will include the leftover fabric swatches from my AMB fabrics and a sample of Mistyfuse fusible web and a sample of Transdoodle, a reusable tracing paper for fabric. The winner of the fat quarter bundle will also receive the Mistyfuse and Transdoodle samples.

So that means I will be drawing three winners: One for the fat quarter bundle prize, and two for the remaining fabric swatche prizes. To enter, please leave me a comment and tell me if you have ever been to North Dakota.

THANK YOU! THE DRAWING IS NOW CLOSED.

Please only enter if you live in the US or have a US address where the prize can be mailed. I will draw the three winners on Wednesday, June 18.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the tour.
