Mosquito Season

Well it appears that the mosquitoes are out in full force these days. I think I have an itchy spot everywhere on my body. Which is not good! At least the ticks have faded away. Have you ever wondered where they go the rest of the year when you don't see them?

In my last post I talked about a couple of fabric designs I have for sale at Spoonflower. Here they are. They were created with a citrus theme. You can find these in my Spoonflower shop here.

By the way, Spoonflower has a wonderful selection of fabrics to choose from when ordering. You can order basically any fabric design on any of their fabric types. I ordered a sample pack of the fabrics they offer and was excited by the cotton jersey they offer. I'm now thinking about sewing myself some custom t-shirts.

Here is a fat quarter of fabric I have been cleaning my stencils and Thermofax screens on when I'm painting. I love how some of these turn out. So fun and interesting...AND, no wasted paint.

And I'm still painting canvas fabric. The pieces I've painted so far have been for sale at my local quilt shop and seem to sell out within a couple days or so. Yay! So I've been keeping the production going.

And here is a sampling of what I've been reading this summer.

What about you? Have you read any good books lately?
