Adding Color

Over the weekend I played with adding color to my fabric. I prewashed the fabric and cut some swatches so I could test different products.

This first one is textile paints that I added water to so they were very fluid.

Next I used textile paints straight from the bottle and did some precision painting.

Here is a sample using Jacquard's IDye.

And last is a couple of colors of Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow.

This fabric took the dyes and paints just like any other fabric I've used. I was happy about that.

I am offering my fabric for sale on the Two Creative Studios web site. You'll find it in the store, here.

You'll notice when you click the fabric link in the store, that I am showing more designs that are coming soon. Yep, I've been busy drawing and preparing for more. All the designs I've worked on so far are black and white only. I am so in love with the graphic appeal of black and white and then having the option to add whatever color I want, if I so choose.

Thank you to all of you who have left such wonderful comments about my new fabric design.
